Blog Post 2: Huck Finn Response (ch. 13-Ch 17)

Huck Finn Response.

In Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Huck, the protagonist, Huck, is greatly influenced by four people: Widow Douglas, Tom Sawyer, Pap, and Jim.

Widow Douglas has influenced Huck Finn directly because; if it wasn’t for her then he would still be in the street some where. He won’t have an education, she made him go to school to at least try and learn. Widow Douglas has changed his life a lot. Widow Douglas has influenced Huck indirectly by her only wonting him to come stay with her because of the money he had found with Tom. Another reason widow Douglas has influence Huck indirectly by the way she make him dress, and say a pray before he eat and how he has to was his hand.*. Huckleberry don’t do this, why you can’t behave do it the right way*pg.2.

Tom Sawyer has influenced Huck Finn directly because, without Tom believing in him then he wouldn’t know what to do. Tom Sawyer has influenced Huck Finn directly because, he always uses to treat him bad until he had to fight for him. He use to get bothered all the time by Tom always coming to his place known as his home most of the time when he won’t to be alone not bothered with anyone. * We start this band of rubbers and we will call it Tom Sawyer Gang*pg.5

Pap has influenced Huck directly because, he took him away from the widow Douglas like he won’t to. Pap has influenced Huck indirectly because, he was always drunk, made him do everything only came in town for his money.* you gone drop out of school*pg.15.

Huck Finn Response (ch.1-ch 12)

In the book Huckleberry Finn Huck moves in with Widow Douglas. He begins to become a young man and start school and then starts taking care of more responsibilities. As you get more into the book you learn that huck and his father does not have the father and son relationship. He finds out that his father is comming to town and he tries to give away the money he has from when the story begins. When his dad arrived he kidnapped huck and took him to a cabin. Huck didn't won't to be there so he escaped but before he escaped he gathered all of his father things and put them into this boat that he had. When he relize that his father could't get enough of the drinks then he decided to fake his dealth. Nobody didn't know where to go or where to look he just couldn't deal with the widow and his father. As time go by Jim now get involves into the story. He hears Ms. Widow say that she is going to sell him as her slave. He then runs away, him and huck somehow has mat up with out planning it. While the others back at home thinks Jim killed Huck. Huck dress up as a girl so he could run away to the city.

Huckleberry is a very interesting story so far. The part that I don't understamd is where did his father come from. This book is kind of related to Mice of Men because, it deals with two men running away. Another reason is that one of the men never get respect he always have to do what ever he is told ( Jim is in the same situation with Lennie) one of the difference is that lennie is just dumb. They both deals with something that each person won't but, it is kind of hard to get it. I fill that this book is better than Mice of Me.
